When Uttar Pradesh’s sky welcomes Shankh Air, it’s not just mark the arrival of a New Airline, it will symbolizes the bold vision of one man determined to re-write the State’s business story.
Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma, the founder of Shankh Air, has built his reputation on grit and reinvention. Raised in Kanpur, he began his career far from the glamour of aviation, working in industries like steel, cement and logistics. Over the years, he expanded in to mining and transportation, assembling a formidable fleet of trucks that gave him both financial strength and operational expertise. Yet he was never content to stop at conventional success.
His leap in to aviation was sparked by a simple observation; air travel was becoming essential, not aspirational. For millions of middle class Indians, especially in the states like Uttar Pradesh, affordable flights remains scarce. Spotting this gap, he envisioned Shankh Airline, as a carrier that could bridge regional divides and make flights assessable to everyday travelers.
The Airline already secured certificate from Ministry of Civil Aviation, and very soon connecting hubs such as Lucknow, New Delhi, and the upcoming Jewar Airport in Noida.
More than a business venture, Shankh Air represents a mindset shift. It reflects how entrepreneurs from smaller cities are stepping into industries once dominated by metropolitan giants.
For Uttar Pradesh, the Airline promises not only improved connectivity, but also fresh opportunities in trade, tourism and employment.
His Journey, from driving tempos to launching an Airline, underscores the power of persistence. Shankh Air, is not just about planes in the sky, it’s about ambition taking flight.
